About St Andrews Brunch Society
The St Andrews Brunch Society, founded in 2025, aims to answer a simple question: “What happens when we mix students from different disciplines, social circles, and backgrounds over a brunch meal?” Our goal is to foster those ‘unlikely friendships’ that become harder to form as we grow older and settle into familiar groups. Unlike many societies that revolve around a shared hobby or academic focus, our sole mission is to create serendipity. At a time when students often feel socially siloed, we provide a space that deliberately brings together people who might never otherwise meet. Our bi-weekly brunches will be intimate, warm, and welcoming, designed to encourage conversation and connection. Success to us is not just measured in attendance, but in the stories that emerge, a new collaboration sparked, a new group of friends formed, or simply two students from opposite corners of campus who discover common ground.
