About Strength For Life

Strength For Life was founded in 2018 with one simple goal in mind, to improve the way that people approach health and physical function throughout all stages of life. We are passionate about improving health and wellbeing through the use of evidence based strength training and are proud to offer a number of services to achieve this goal. Our staff are highly qualified in the areas of Physiotherapy, Strength & Conditioning, Exercise Science and Occupational Therapy. We have developed our own unique style of physical training, which combines traditional clinical methods with more modern strength and conditioning techniques. The result is a hybrid ultra-effective service that optimises people’s health! We are actively involved in research projects regarding healthy ageing, resistance training for older adults and clinical strength training techniques. The work produced by our team has been published in numerous academic journals and has been presented at international conferences. In addition to this, our staff deliver workshops and seminars to educate a range of health care and exercise professionals on contemporary strength and conditioning techniques. Our passion for preventative health strategies extends in to the work place where we have worked with businesses on a local and national level. Our corporate health service includes staff education programmes, drop in health and wellbeing sessions as well as tailored interventions for high occurring problems such as back pain.
