Although there are a plethora of clothing stores aimed at Muslim women, Striving For Modesty seeks to be the modest clothing store of YOUR choice. Our aim is to provide an array of exclusive and luxurious items that are modest and made from great quality fabrics. We uphold the belief that all Muslim women should observe hijab around non-mahrams by wearing a khimar(headscarf) and jilbab/abaya at all times. This is the inspiration behind our expansive collection of jilbabs and abayas. We also understand the importance of being comfortable in your jilbab, making our comfortable tunics, skirts and dresses ideal. While we are obligated to cover around non-mahrams, we are permitted to uncover around women, there is still a level of modesty required. For this reason, we carry a small selection aimed for those women-only events. Yes, Striving For Modesty is created for Muslim women but we seek to clothe all women who desire a modest wardrobe regardless of their faith.
