For ice-going vessels, Ecospeed Ice, our certified ice-abrasion resistant coating, has proved that it will stay on the hull and protect the steel, aluminum or GRP long after other coatings have been stripped off. Ecospeed Ice is an incredibly durable, low friction coating for icebreakers and ice-going ships. Cavitation damage, erosion and corrosion on ships’ rudders, thruster tunnels, Kort nozzles and other gear have not been solved until now. Ecoshield protection is the solution for these problems. Many major shipping lines have seen the value of Ecoshield and are systematically using it on all of their ships. Pitted and damaged surfaces can be repaired with Ecofix, a metal and GRP filler with the same composition as Ecoshield, prior to recoating. The answer to optimum hull protection and performance is the original Ecospeed system. A non-toxic, glass-flake composite protective coating combined with regular in-water cleaning. The ship’s fuel efficiency improves with each cleaning. We have other special marine paint.
