Supercamp at Vanier College is a non-profit day camp providing arts, science, sports and learning programs to kids ages 5 to 16 as well as an inclusion program! We offer a wide range of camps, at Supercamp there is something for everyone! We continuously diversify our registration options, we now offer over 20 programs, including March Break programs, a partnership with the Montreal Impact Soccer Schools and an English immersion program! Our campers have access to exceptional facilities, located in the sports complex and through out Vanier College. Supercamp emphasizes on having fun while learning new skills and making friends through teamwork! Our unforgettable programs are designed to challenge campers and build their self-confidence. Supercamp’s amazing staff undergoes intensive training as dictated by the Association of Camps of Quebec, ensuring proper childcare techniques along with lively camp games and activities. Furthermore, our staff is bilingual to ensure our camp provides the most immersive experience possible. Supercamp is over 80 employees devoted to creating memories to last a lifetime! With our well-trained, prepared and dynamic team of counsellors, we are committed to giving your child the very best! Other essential staff include the camp Director supported by a team of coordinators who are responsible for the children’s well-being the supervision of all employees. A Health and Safety Coordinator, an Intervention Coordinator, an Animation Coordinator, a CIT-Leadership Coordinator and an Aquatic Activities Coordinator as well as two Office Managers prepare and manage the activities. Every year, prior to the start of camp, each Supercamp staff receives at least 50 hours of training to thoroughly prepare for the upcoming summer. Its focuses are mainly on supervision and safety training which include behaviour intervention, animation and prevention. Also, all staff obtains their First Aid certification before the start of the summer.
