Our Retrofit solutions are therefore a popular alternative to purchasing a new equipment, because in a Retrofit we "only" modernise the core component of a switchgear - its "heart", so to speak. The system structure itself remains untouched. However, by using the latest technology in switchgear we bring the old equipment up-to-date and give it a significantly longer service life. In addition, a retrofit saves the time-consuming planning and alterations. The upgraded switchgear is installed directly in the old system by plug-and-play. A Retrofit is the better choice from an economical point of view, because the investment costs are much lower and thanks to the state-of-the-art switchgear, the system subsequently operates more efficiently and of course, requires less maintenance. Such solutions are possible as a result of an in-house department that is dedicated to research and development and has the expertise to implement its own projects as well as for the engineering/consulting of individual customer solutions in the field of energy technology. For this purpose, we offer prototype and sample construction as well as standing AC voltage tests up to 100,000 V in our own modern electrical test field for switchgear. In addition to Retrofit solutions, we also manufacture switchgear and other electrical components such as vacuum circuit-breakers, switch-disconnectors and drives for them, load break switches and earthing switches and offer spare parts and service for old SCI switches as well as products from different manufacturers.
