About Tapestry Moon Art Studio
My business is art and photography. I love what I do. I create commissioned pieces as well as one of a kind pieces that I sell. I design and build things that I find beautiful and I bring that to the world. I am inspired by Art History, the Old Masters, museums, artifacts, archaeology, tribal influences from around the globe, the art from Neolithic man such as the Mogollon peoples in the Mimbres area of NM and the Anasazi. The prehistoric natives of America, their pottery, their petroglyphs the legends...all of these things are fuel for my brain and for my creativity. I love the mountains, the deserts, the sunsets, the colors, sounds and smells of the world, and all of this impacts my art and choices for what I create! I am available to teach both art and photography. I am looking at offering workshops for painting and photography as well as continuing to create the art I sell as well. I can do interior design, floorplans, help you find the exact piece of art that will set off your home decor. I can illustrate children's books, for self published as well as formally published children's books with the mainstream publishing houses. My world revolves around art and I love to share that with people and learn about people and create the designs that only they see in their heads, and I help bring that out. I am a business manager as well, I can run a non-profit organization, art musuem, art gallery, or even a single artist studio. I have a very strong arts and business background and I can help other artist's with the things they have questions on. I am an excellent researcher on antiquities as well as maritime laws and their impact on salvaged art and antiquities. I research the provenance of art pieces as well as validate authenticity of art and documents for collectors. I look forward to talking to you if you have any questions on art processes or collections or just are interested in workshops and lessons, I will be there to teach you what you need or want to know.
