About The Art Farm NYC
We are an eco-friendly facility which teaches children about nature, animals and how to better care for our planet. Our mission is to teach children responsibility and compassion through caring, loving and being in the company of animals. Our magical, USDA licensed, indoor petting zoo has a wide variety of animals including bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, birds, tropical fish and more. Our current programming includes adult-and-me music and preschool preparation classes, gentle separation, animal science, cooking and art classes. We also offer drop-in programs where families can come and interact with our animals, engage in self-directed art and play in an interactive educational playroom. We offer summer and holiday Camps throughout the year which is centered on The Art Farm’s philosophy of hands on animal, arts and music education.
