About The Autism Service
The Autism Service is a private assessment and intervention service for children and adults with – or who are suspected of having – Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It was set up in response to feedback from service users about gaps in care, alongside a psychologist’s wish to get things right for this group. The service consists of healthcare professionals who are experienced in working with ASD. They are trained in and knowledgeable about all areas of development, and in completing diagnostic assessments. This requires a high level of specialist skill that is often not readily available. The practice of each clinician is regulated by an independent body, which means the public can be confident about the standard of care provided. The Autism Service aims to provide assessments that are high quality, reliable and helpful and interventions that support children and adults with ASD to achieve their potential in terms of their development and mental health.
