About The Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF)

The Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF) is an independent organization that provides a platform for all stakeholders involved in the development of oncology drugs. The aim of the not-for-profit organization is to accelerate the delivery of effective oncology agents to patients. Established in 2001 as the Biotherapy Development Association (BDA), the focus was initially around immunotherapy. Recognizing the importance of embracing all forms of oncology drug development, the name of the organization was changed in 2014 to the Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF). The CDDF is organized around separate themes – a working group covering general issues in cancer drugs, a working group covering immunology and a working group covering paediatric oncology. At regular meetings and workshops organised during the year, the CDDF encourages a unique collaborative approach, where delegates engage in ‘frank and open’ discussions exploring innovative ideas in a ‘protected’ environment.
