About The Charter Schools Educational Trust
Our mission is clear, we are focussed on providing better futures for all our children and young people. We work to improve the futures of thousands of children in London and beyond, particularly where their young lives are adversely affected by social and educational disadvantage. Our Trust was founded in 2010 with the academisation of The Charter School North Dulwich. We became a multi-academy trust in 2015 with the opening of a second affiliated secondary school operating under the Charter name. Today, we are proud to be a growing trust comprising three secondary and six primary schools. We are also home to a Teaching School Hub, a Research School, a Behaviour Hub, and an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. We have built a strong reputation across London and the South East for teacher development and school improvement. Collaboration is deep-rooted in our culture. We recognise that we are all responsible for the children and young people who attend our family of schools and that by working together we will be able to give them the best educational experiences and a better future. Achieving together is crucial for our work, as are our values of inclusion, integrity and being evidence informed.
