Set along an untouched stretch of Brazil’s northernmost coast where golden sands and endless blue sea meet tropical green shores, this peaceful enclave is a break from reality. In the village of Jericoacoara that modern life forgot, The Chili Beach is a designer den offering high level comfort and personalized service. From freshly roasted Brazilian cups of coffee to colorful platters of exotic fruit served in the tropical garden, every detail is thoughtfully considered. In total, there are four suites with private gardens and patios, and two villas perfect for families. Villas comprise two suites, a salon and private decks/gardens. Each room is filled with light and has been designed in a contemporary style brimming with mojito-fresh colors and quirky photorealist artwork. Days at The Chili Beach are spent kicking back, swimming in the pool or windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle boarding on the shallow waters that stay warm all year round. But for a little Latin-American spirit, lessons in capoeira and samba can be arranged. Alternative pastimes such as yoga sessions and exercise classes can take place in the spacious tropical garden that surrounds the property, which is also a great spot for private dinner parties and events such as wedding receptions. Meals served in the alfresco restaurant, bar, lounge and Beach Club are a fusion of Mediterranean and Brazilian flavors while the SPA’s menu features therapies from all over the world. Worth noting: all six bedrooms may be hired for exclusive use as one unit with chefs, maids, gardeners, butlers and security service.
