The Windy City Community Coalition (WCCC), also known as The Coalition Chi, exists to serve and strengthen grassroots and community-based organizations across Chicago’s neighborhoods, especially in areas with the greatest need. Our vision is clear: to empower those already doing the work. We’re here to walk behind and beside the leaders and organizations who already have their boots on the ground, offering the support they need to go further, whether that’s through capacity building, technical assistance, leadership development, strategic planning, or collaborative partnerships. We envision a collaborative ecosystem of care, a city-wide network of organizations that covers every facet of a person’s life: from health to housing, education to employment, trauma care to transformation. By covering each other’s gaps, we ensure no neighbor is left behind. This is more than a coalition. It’s a movement of unity, trust, and shared impact. Together, we believe we can help communities not just survive—but truly thrive.
