The world does not need more charity, it needs understanding, alignment, and intentional collaboration. “Kindness is not what we do, it is everything we are.” Everything The Dandelion Philosophy does starts with the understanding that once we have fed a hungry person, we can begin the dialogue with them about change and healing the harmful influences that have shaped their experience of the world for too long. Our strategic objective is to use our feeding to start the dialogue about exploiting education and skills training to change the circumstances of those living in poverty. Our model is holistic in the true sense and we consider all aspects of empowerment, including providing psychosocial support alongside training, to heal trauma and ensure our impacts are long-lasting. We use science and business strategies as a foundation for innovation and believe in the principle of circularity. We look for opportunities in every step of our work to educate, heal, mentor, and encourage growth as a means to resolving social challenges. The Dandelion Philosophy Inc is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) and is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
