About The Fold
The Fold is a non-profit community interest company. Our mission is to undertake activities which benefit the community and improve the health and wellbeing of both individuals and the planet. Nestled in Worcestershire's Teme Valley, our site is built around the 17th century buildings of the Tooby family farm. The Fold Café is run by a Michelin Green Star chef, serving delicious vegetarian food grown right here on our organic Community Farm. The Farm serves the local area with gorgeous fresh veg boxes all year round, with many community members volunteering to help grow the veg, enjoying getting their hands dirty in the beautiful soil. You can also take home some of our produce at our popular onsite honesty shop The Veg Shed. We also host an Artisan village with a number of creative businesses on site, including jewellers, ceramicists, artists, card makers, a vegan hairdresser, and a pottery studio. The Fold has two beautifully-converted 17th Century rooms for venue hire, and hosts a range of yoga, pilates, health & wellness courses, film screenings, talks, weddings & handfastings, celebrations of life, along with retreats and meeting space. The Natural Therapy Centre offers a wide variety of complementary treatments aimed to support the individual in their health journey. Our Hop Barn is the site of a monthly Artisan Market on the 1st Sunday of every month and is also used for music events, weddings and celebrations. Nature trails have been established here since 2015, in co-operation with Worcestershire Countryside Service. From the trails you can experience the local wildlife whilst walking alongside the River Teme and view the Malvern Hills from Tank Lake. There are plenty of benches on-route to picnic. The trails make for great dog walks and you can bring your four-legged friends into the café afterwards too!
