The Gaia Project is a non-profit organization that aims to empower youth to take action against climate change through offering educational resources and programming to teachers. Rooted in an inquiry-based learning approach, our programs aim to inspire curiosity and collaborative problem-solving to tackle the challenges of climate change, and inspire students to develop innovative strategies in order to reduce the ecological footprint of their school. Our Mission is to empower youth to take action on climate change through education. Our Vision is to unlock the hidden potential of all New Brunswick students and educators to engage in the fight against climate change. ------ Le Projet Gaia est un organisme sans but lucratif dont la mission consiste à outiller les jeunes pour agir contre les changements climatiques, et ce en offrant des ressources et des programmes pédagogiques aux enseignants. Ancrés dans une démarche d’apprentissage par investigation, nos programmes cherchent à inspirer la curiosité et la résolution de problèmes par la collaboration pour lutter contre les changements climatiques ainsi qu’à inciter les élèves à élaborer des stratégies pour réduire l’empreinte écologique de leur école. Notre mission consiste à outiller les jeunes par l’éducation pour agir contre les changements climatiques. Notre vision consiste à libérer le potentiel caché de tous les élèves et éducateurs du Nouveau-Brunswick pour leur permettre de contribuer à la lutte contre les changements climatiques.
