About The Haunted Bookshop
The Haunted Bookshop is Iowa City's oldest used book store. Established in 1978, the store moved in December 2013 to its current location in Northside Iowa City. We carry over 45,000 titles in more than 70 different sections ranging from Iowa interest to poetry, children's books to science, religion to history and more. We also carry board and card games, plush toys and puppets, old-fashioned wooden toys - and specifically, toys designed to facilitate fun, to help early readers along, to promote open-ended play, and to encourage empathy and imagination.
