About The Hellenic Initiative Canada
The Hellenic Initiative Canada (THI) is a Canadian, non-profit, non-governmental secular institution whose mission, through the generosity of the Greek diaspora and philhellene community, is to provide direct crisis relief. THI Canada was founded in the summer of 2016 to continue that work in Canada by opening up opportunities for Canadians to contribute in this time of urgent need. Our founders believed that a direct response to the spiralling economic crisis is the only way to help Greece’s short-term needs and long-term recovery. We are guided by three principles; transparency, accountability, and responsibility. Working with a direct approach, we ensure that your donation reaches intended beneficiaries directly.
