The Investor Forum launched the Investor & Issuer Forum (I&IF) as an extension of its mission to improve market practices. While the Investor Forum continues to operate independently, the I&IF introduces a new focus on engaging both investors and issuers to address practical challenges. The Investor Forum serves as the I&IF's secretariat, with backing from the London Stock Exchange The I&IF will create a space where companies and investors can work together to enhance the functioning of our markets and encourage a renewed focus on value creation. As part of a package of reforms designed to enhance the competitiveness of the UK’s capital markets we believe that it is vital that market practitioners take responsibility for improving the effectiveness of our marketplace, which is why the I&IF is led by a Steering Committee of senior leaders from across the investment chain, including Chairs of listed companies, asset managers, and asset owners. By focusing on actionable initiatives, our aim is to resolve conflicts, reduce friction, and build better relationships between issuers and investors, ultimately supporting and enabling clear alignment through the investment chain.
