About The Mocap Vaults
The ultimate online learning resource for performers and directors wanting to discover the world of motion capture. Set up by industry veterans, our aim is to bring motion capture out of the shadows and help a new generation of actors and directors to get involved and learn the secret arts. Oliver Hollis-Leick has spent the last 16 years acting in and directing over 80 video game and movie titles. He has acted as a motion capture consultant on several projects and taught mocap workshops for actors. John Dower is a professional film and TV director who has moved into performance capture. He is cinematics Director on "Space marine 2" and worked on the legendary Milo and Kate, as well as numerous other projects. He teaches Mocap workshops for actors, directors and animators. Gareth Taylor is an actor and movement specialist that has spent over a decade working in motion capture. He has also acted as mocap consultant to game and feature film projects. Richard Dorton is a prolific Mocap Actor and performer working in Los Angeles with many credits. As Richard says - if you've played a video game you've probably killed my characters several times! Pascal Langdale aka Langlois is our main tutor in Canada. A RADA trainer actor and dancer, Pascal has appeared on Stage, Television & Film and many Video Games - recently working for Ubisoft in Toronto and Montreal. Nicklas Hansson is a highly experienced Mocap performer, stuntman and Actor who is heading up our operations in Sweden. We aim to deliver the wisdom and insight that will educate aspiring mocap performers and directors and bring them to a professional level.
