About The Organic Gardener
The Organic Gardener Ltd. (TOG) creates beautiful and productive organic edible gardens. We provide our clients with a full line of services, from design and installation to maintenance and educational programming. Together, we build inviting, interactive outdoor environments that yield an abundance of fresh, organic produce. We're based in Highland Park, Illinois, about 20 miles north of downtown Chicago. Many of our gardens are tucked into surrounding suburban backyards throughout the North Shore, but we also work with city families to create gardens in unique spaces like rooftops, decks, and patios. Additionally, we partner with local businesses, schools, restaurants, and non-profit organizations interested in a sustainable garden-to-table approach, as well as other large-scale residential and commercial food production projects throughout the country. Our passion is delivering the highest level of customized service to our clients. We design unique garden spaces tailored to meet each client's needs, and plan closely with the client to compliment existing landscape and architecture at their site. We grow an extensive variety of organic vegetables, herbs, fruit, and edible and cut flowers proven to thrive in our Midwest region. With a team trained in both horticulture and education, we work with growers of all experience levels, and aim to maximize both production and enjoyment of your garden. Whether we handle every detail from planting through harvest, or we work alongside you as guides throughout the season, the TOG team makes a commitment to grow your garden with you. Our approach is rooted in engaging children and adults in the benefits of growing their own food.
