About The Rainbow Society of Alberta
The Rainbow Society of Alberta is a non-profit registered charity dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of Alberta children with a chronic or life-threatening illness. Thank you for taking an interest in our program and for your interest in assisting us with our fundraising efforts. Our community partnerships are very important to us and we are always looking at new opportunities and new ideas to help us raise the necessary funds to make dreams come true for the children in our wish program. There are many ways for companies and individuals to get involved as volunteers, sponsors, donors or third party fundraisers. 1. Volunteers are always needed at various events held throughout the year. 2. Corporate sponsorship is event specific and vital to our fundraising initiatives. We offer significant marketing value to our sponsors in exchange for their generosity and commitment. 3. Individual and corporate donations can be monetary or a ‘gift-in-kind’. Monetary donations can be made by contacting our office or online at www.canadahelps.org 4. Third Party Fundraisers define events or activities held by an individual, business, or club in support of The Rainbow Society of Alberta. Third party fundraising events and initiatives encourage individuals and groups to come together in the spirit of charitable giving. We can work together to develop a third party event and we are always willing to take part depending on the location and date. Since our inception in 1986, we have fulfilled dreams and wishes for over 1048 children from 163 Alberta communities. We continue to rely upon donations from individuals and businesses as well as funds raised at various events held in Alberta each year.
