Introducing: The Slowdown Summit A “Designed Different” Conference for Meaningful Connection and Introspective Leadership April 2026 | Columbus Museum of Art We’re challenging what we know about leadership, conferences, and networking. In a world of overstimulation, content overload, and increasing loneliness, we’ve designed a different kind of leadership conference: The Slowdown Summit. We’re building a space that is safe, paced, and purposeful. Attendees will connect with intention, learn through reflection, and rewrite the paradigm of what it means to be a leader. This isn't your typical networking event. No unstructured small talk, no over-reliance on alcohol, no forced smiles, no shouting to be heard. The Slowdown Summit is a thoughtfully crafted day-and-a-half conference for introspective leaders, deep thinkers, creatives, and nontraditional professionals who are done with performative busyness and ready to connect with purpose. We’ve designed this gathering from the ground up for those who feel out of place at typical professional events: • Low-stimulation spaces for introverts and neurodivergent folks. • Facilitated networking and opt-in small group conversation. • Workshops that nourish, not exhaust. • Content rooted in reflection, creativity, and personal growth. • Content delivery for all kinds of learners: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. • An end to “What do you do?” and a beginning to “What brings you here?”
