About Thinking Schools South Africa
TSSA is a non profit organization dedicated to transforming learning environments across the socio-economic spectrum to equip learners with thinking skills for success at school and in life. Mission We aim to impact on 200 thinking schools and 100 000 smarter children by 2015 Company Overview TSSA started with a group of inspired cognitive education experts at a 2011 conference of IACESA (International Association for Cognitive Education in Southern Africa) who decided to make a practical and lasting difference in South African education. Everybody recognized the need to develop independent thinkers with thinking dispositions, tools and strategies to succeed at school and compete in the world. We knew that if we pooled our collective expertise we could transform school environments around thinking as a core competence. This was the impetus to form Thinking Schools South Africa (TSSA)
