About Tkiyet Um Ali
Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), founded in 2003 by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein in memory of HM Queen Alia, is the first NGO in Jordan and the Arab world dedicated to eradicating hunger. Guided by the vision of a hunger-free Jordan, we serve 20,000 families living in extreme poverty through our Sustainable Food Aid Program. We also run seasonal and ongoing initiatives including the Wayfarer Program, Mawa’ed Al Rahman, and Adahi, ensuring vulnerable individuals receive daily, nutritious meals. Our 19 volunteer programs foster community engagement while upholding the dignity of the families we support. Our mission is to fight hunger and malnutrition through sustainable food programs based on scientific methods and Islamic Sharia, governed by transparency and accountability. We partner locally and internationally to maximize our impact and raise public awareness.
