About Too Nubian Entertainment
The Juiceman Jonathan Shaw: President and CEO of Too Nubian Entertainment What began as a marketing assignment in 1991 has now grown to become Too Nubian Entertainment. The assignment was to prepare a plan to market and develop your business for the next 5 years. It was therefore conceivable that given his passion for music and his involvement in the entertainment industry, that this assignment would involve music. Jonathan has been involved in music for most of his life. His foray into the public spotlight began with the legendary "Turntable Kings of Ontario" (TKO). His voice, his style, his connection with the crowd, and his raw talent on the turntables earned him instant recognition that began his now stellar career in the music business. In 2001, Jonathan made history along with Milestone Radio (Flow 93.5 FM) - the first Black owned and First Urban radio station in Canada - becoming one of the first on air personalities to be hired by the station. During his tenure, he was the creative manager, known for "Creating Spots with Spice" and hosted the number one show on Sunday evenings The Downbeat. As certified Radio Copy Writer, he has written and voiced commercials for a host of radio stations across North America and the Caribbean including: Flow 93.5, Z103.5, 88.1 CKLN, 89.5 CIUT, Buffalo 93.7 WBLK, 92.9 WBUF, Love 104.1 FM (Barbados), and Fame FM (Jamaica). His voice has been used in commercials for such companies as: Coca Cola, Molson's, Labatts, BlackVoices.com, Sexual Assault and Rape Crisis Centre, Black C.A.P.; such noted artists as Maxwell, Jill Scott, Jodeci, Keith Sweat, Glenn Lewis, Gap Band, SOS Band and the United We Funk Concerts, Captain John's Seafood Restaurant, Michaeljaz Clothing, and several other Small Businesses across Ontario.
