Established in 2017 from Samsung Electronics C-Lab’s project, Toonsquare wanted to create a service in which people can draw and make their own contents in an easy, simple, and inexpensive way. To realize this, Toonsqure has developed a service called ‘Tooning’ that combines AI technology with a creative service. Tooning offers people to create online comics within a few minutes. People just type in a text, and AI transformation technology turns the text into an image. The company is also the first one to develop smart modular comic characters. People can freely create their work with diverse cartoon resources, fonts, and backgrounds. The service is used in various fields and purposes including education and business work.
