About Training Funding Source

Training Funding Source® is the largest administrator for California employee training reimbursements. Eligible activities include both in-house training and coaching that most employers are already doing with their staff, and more formal outsourced training programs. Any time an employee is engaged in learning how to become more effective, efficient, and productive, training is taking place and that activity can qualify for a refund. The training funds provided to employers are drawn from the state’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) and earmarked for “retraining” workers whose companies need to upgrade systems, skills, and/or processes to remain competitive. These reimbursements are paid directly to companies every year, as long as they are in the program. In order to access the funds, employers must apply and be approved by the State of California. At Training Funding Source, we help employers qualify for training funding by handling all the necessary paperwork. We represent employers and their companies with the EDD, and manage the process end-to-end. Our services are provided with no out of pocket costs for the employers we serve. Instead, our fees are based on a percentage of the actual reimbursement received and are contingent on completing the approved training.
