About Treetop Academics

Treetop Academics provides meaningful, hands-on, project-based, and student-centered educational opportunities through best teaching practices and age-appropriate curriculum for ALL students. While providing the structure and tools for success, and by putting students at the center of learning, our programs are designed to allow healthy exploration and creativity. Students are encouraged to use their faculties to the best of their individual ability and, with practice and support, test theories about their own learning. Treetop Academics is dedicated to the well-being and positive social-emotional holistic development of all children. Classes are open to all K-5th grade Edison students, and we encourage all learners to join our classes, whether a program is beginning subject matter for your student or continuing. In all our thematic programs, your student will be engaged in daily project-based curriculum and activities with a focus on learning while having fun. Treetop Academics has a long-standing relationship with Edison students by offering the highest quality after-school programs available. We are again providing our best classes, and on-site certified childcare, through the largest and most diverse selection of academic enrichment opportunities anywhere. For the 2024/25 academic year we will offer our after-school classes in Art, Science, Robotics, World Languages, Publishing the Edison newspaper (The Edison Examiner), and Maker-Space. All students participate in our academic class as part of our certified childcare. Treetop provides childcare from directly after-school until 6pm. Childcare starts the first day of school until the last; every day school is in session. Treetop will also host ten no-school day ‘Hackathon’ camps separate from our regular classes and monthly tuition.
