Tristar Coatings manufactures a complete range of specialty coatings for the Aerospace, Transportation, Mining, Agriculture, Industrial and Commercial markets, including primers, topcoats/paints, additives and solvents. Specially formulated products include high performance zinc rich epoxy primers, polyurethanes, isocyanate free acrylics, fluoropolymers as well as a full range of waterborne epoxies and polyurethanes with exceptionally low VOC content ideally suited for LEED compliance in the Commercial and Architectural markets. Tristar paint formulations are driven by three basic criteria; appearance, long-term durability and ease of application. These performance characteristics are predicated on the unique conditions of not only the end use environment, but also the environment where the paint is physically applied. More specifically, coatings are designed with several factors in mind, including but not limited to, optimal adhesion, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, flexibility/impact resistance, protection against abrasion, VOC compliance, as well as dry times, ease of application, health & safety issues and cost.
