About Turin School of Development (TSD)
The Turin School of Development (TSD) is a unique educational programme that combines the world of international organizations with academia and some of the world's most renowned universities. From the historic presentation of the first course in International Trade Law in 1991, the School was founded in Turin as a partnership between the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO) and the University of Turin in 2009. Over the years, the collaboration has been extended to the Politecnico of Turin and specific UN agencies. Today, the School is fully embedded into the training offer of the ITCILO and represents a global knowledge hub. The TSD delivers post-graduate programmes through a dynamic and innovative learning approach that is both theoretically grounded and practically oriented. The education curriculum focuses on new trendy areas of study that combine the ILO mandate in terms of promotion of social justice and decent work with the advancement of development and new emerging issues. This ensures that participants are not only introduced to the latest topics and research in their fields, but are also equipped with the necessary skills and practical expertise to apply in real-life situations. Since 1991, about 3700 participants from all over the world had the opportunity to learn in a unique multicultural environment and successfully complete the educational programme. Today, they are prominent professionals and represent an important network for the Centre and the Masters around the world. For more information: https://www.itcilo.org/turin-school-of-development
