Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Education Program, Inc. (TURNING POINT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 3756 Santa Rosalia Drive, Suite 617, Los Angeles, CA 90008. (323) 296-1840. TURNING POINTs mission is to ensure that vulnerable populations in the city and county of Los Angeles—particularly low-income adults (18 and older), adolescents (12 – 17 years old), and individuals with developmental disabilities (12 and older)—reduce health disparities related to alcohol and/or other drug abuse problems. TURNING POINT non-residential program will aid and prepare participants in—re-establishing and developing functional life and family skills, self-awareness, community relationships, and sufficient job preparation—without the use of addictive substances. Services Provided: Alcohol and Other Drug Education and Prevention HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention Group and Individual Counseling Recovery/Treatment Planning Relapse Prevention Crisis Intervention Gang Intervention Parolee Re-entry Services Family Reunification and/or Parenting Skills Life Skill Training Anger Management and Domestic Violence Job Skills Training & Preparation Substance Use Urinalysis (UA) Testing HIV/AIDS Education & Prevention Other Specialized Services Free Transportation (to & from the facility)
