About Tutifruti Skate

Welcome to Tutifruti, where we blend the vibrant worlds of skateboarding, rollerskating, and creative arts to champion the cause of mental health education and advocacy. We host a spectrum of experiences throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, from dynamic community events and creative art workshops to skate clinics and private lessons, igniting dialogues and fostering support networks. Founded by Isabella Ostos (they/them) and Romina Palmero (she/her), two queer Latinx immigrants based in South Florida, we understand that certain sectors in our community lack representation, resources, and opportunities. Our events, workshops, clinics, and content aim to increase accessibility and overall participation from the communities who historically have been pushed away by the industry (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, GNC, and Immigrants). We strive to create and maintain sustainable relationships with our community members, organizations, and local businesses, prioritizing those who come from underrepresented backgrounds and those whose values align with Tutifruti’s goal to create and maintain safer spaces for vulnerable populations.
