About Universal Seismic
Headquartered in Singapore, Universal Seismic Pte Ltd provides data processing and data analytics services for the oil&gas operators in the US, Canada and China. Our company specializes in full stack microseismic data processing, moment tensor and microseismic reflection imaging. During a modern well completion employing hydraulic fracture stimulation high pressure fluids and sand are pumped at variable rates with variable chemical and physical compositions. In essence we are mapping the dynamic changes imparted upon the rock volume directly surrounding the well being subjected to hydraulic fracture stimulation. The final aspect to the technology is to directly image induced or naturally occurring fractures using a proprietary imaging approach. This final aspect is likely the most innovative and potentially most important technology. We parse our analysis into three deliverables: Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive. In the first we describe the geometry and geomechanics of the frac: length, width, height, propped and unpropped estimated volumes, original in situ stress distribution, well and stage interference, fault reactivation and indications of any mechanical failures in the completion hardware or cement. In the second deliverable we provide an estimate of production and pressure draw down distribution from the well or wells. In the third deliverable we provide recommendations for future completion strategies.
