In addition, there are five (5) affiliated hospitals, including the regional government hospitals in Makeni, Bo, Kenema, Choithram Memorial Hospital at Hill Station in Freetown, and Emergency Trauma Hospital at Goderich in Freetown. The hospitals under the Administration of the Teaching Hospitals Complex are the main sites for training health professionals across all cadres and at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
