About Upwelling Learning

We are a London based Learning and Organisational Development Agency which uses Marketing and Social Psychology to help people learn and change what they do. Increasingly complex business environments make it essential for people inside organisations to learn and adapt. But conventional learning programs don’t support real changes in behaviour. Even blended learning programs aren’t enough any more – we need a new approach that motivates and supports learners, with fresh thinking from other areas. Marketing is focused on influencing what people do, and Social Psychology has proven techniques to make behaviour change easier and quicker. Upwelling combines approaches from both to develop and implement learning that sticks. The name Upwelling refers to deep-sea currents that bring rich nutrients to the surface. The company exists to bring up the rich findings from social psychology and marketing to people’s attention, making learning easier and quicker.
