About UR Community Cares®

We provide free lawn care, transportation, companionship, help with household chores for older and disabled adults, veterans, women pre/post pregnancy. A 501(c)3 accepting donations which keeps services free. UR Community Cares connects older adults/disabled people with Volunteers. Community Members qualify if age 70+ and/or 18+ physically disability (temporary after injury/illness or permanent). Participants are background checks performed for added safety. Many are having a very difficult time physically caring for their homes and have limited ability to perform activities. Living on a fixed income can be challenging to pay for private caregivers, many have family that have passed or moved away and need help to stay in their home as they are aging. Our goal is for people to help support neighbors in their time of need. We are a non-profit that is working to help reduce falls/hospitalizations for the population that are lonely due to surgery, illness or mobility limitations. We allow for groups of people or individuals to donate their time. Each town can use us to better connect their community.
