About Valu-Trac Investment Management
The origins of Valu-Trac Investment Management go back to the 1970’s when the Intrinsic Value approach was established by the company’s founder, Peter Millar, to identify global investment opportunities. From 1977 to 1984 Peter was helping to set up the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) as Senior Investment Manager for Global Bonds and Equities. He then established Valu-Trac Research in 1985 as an investment advisory business specialising in Global Asset Allocation supporting Investment Managers including ADIA and Standard Life. Valu-Trac Investment Management Limited (Valu-Trac) then became authorised as an investment manager in 1989 due to the demand from our research clients and managed traditional (long only) and alternative (hedge funds) investments for institutional fund structures and high net worth investors. Valu-Trac Administration Services ("VTAS", a trading name of Valu-Trac) was launched in 2008, based on the proven track record of the Valu-Trac’s administration and accounting team. Our history and understanding of investment management was crucial in delivering a quality and timely service for our funds and managed accounts. Over the years Valu-Trac has capitalised on these strong relationships with Sponsors to offer a comprehensive suite of services including Investment Management & Support, ACD and Fund Operations. By providing a 'one stop shop' Valu-Trac allows Investment Managers to focus fully on their own competitive advantage from better research, innovative products and providing investment solutions for their client base. Today, Valu-Trac predominantly provides Investment Management & Support, ACD and Fund Operations services to around 50 Sponsors/Investment Managers across over 150 Funds worth £15bn AuM. The range of products we operate is focused on UK OEICs and NURs funds.
