VBCare Network’s mission is to achieve financial success in the competitive Arizona value-based care market. This means expanding its contracts with Arizona Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health insurance companies for value-based payment and growing the number of assigned members under its contracts with health plans. VBCare earns revenues from health plan and public payers’ financial incentives and shared savings payment that are earned by achieving quality target and total cost of care benchmarks that are set by the health plan and payers. Other sources of revenue from additional lines of business will be considered in the future including entering into capitated payment contract aka global payment for the provision on specific healthcare services to enrolled or assigned patient population. VBCare Network currently has a little over 95,000 assigned health plan members under contract from the health plans. VBCare Network is accountable the level of quality performance and cost containment of it participating healthcare providers. VBCare business goal is to continue to grow membership by 3% to 5% per year.
