Vivian Corporation was founded by local pharmacist Wilfred Gatt in 1952. Today, as distributors in Malta, the company remains a family-run business based on solid values set out by the founder. Vivian Corporation was founded in 1952 by a young pharmacist, Wilfred Gatt. Wilfred gave the company its name in honour of his late brother who had died whilst still a small boy. In fact, the name Vivian - from the Roman name Vivianus - is derived from the Latin word Vivus which means 'alive'. Since those early days, the value of life has always been the greatest inspiration for all who work - or who have worked - with the company. The value of life - based on our strap line 'Celebrating Life' - has served as a guiding principle for the company's operations in the importation and distribution of its products as well as through the standards of operation upheld and maintained by its members of staff.
