Voetbalshop ® met Voetbalshop.nl en Voetbalshop.be én 22 voetbalshop speciaalzaken in Nederland en België, is opgericht in 1996, als onderdeel van de Badge Groep. “Badge” (1978), was op dat moment Europa’s leading merchandising company met o.a. klanten als UEFA, FIFA, KNVB, Man United, Ajax, FC Utrecht en FC Barcelona. Maar ook voor de Amerikaanse sportbonden als NFL, MLB & NHL. Het bedrijf introduceerde in 1996, in opdracht van de UEFA de de Champions League Badge beter bekend als de “Badge of all Badges” . Deze is nu bijna 30 jaar later nog op elk shirt in elke Champions League wedstrijd te zien! Badge was met Fanshop.com een van de eerste webshop’s in Europa gericht op fans van het voetballen. Begin 2000 opgevolgd door Voetbalshop.nl en Voetbalshop.be. De webshops en winkels van Voetbalshop ® zijn met bijna 25 miljoen bezoeken per jaar de grootste voetbalspecialist in de Benelux. Tevens is Voetbalshop ® met de top merken Nike, Adidas en Puma dé leverancier van 10 betaald voetbal organisaties in Nederland en Pro Clubs in België, official teamwear partner van de KNVB.
