About West Springfield Council on Aging/Senior Center
The Council on Aging is the principal agency of local government which serves the elderly. The three core responsibilities of the Councils on Aging are: (1) identify the needs of older people along with the available resources of the community, (2) educate the community at large in the problems of aging and the needs of its older citizens, and, (3) design, promote and implement services coordinating efforts of agencies serving older people. The West Springfield Council on Aging is privileged to serve our Town's older residents by providing information, referral, advocacy, programs and activities to meet varied needs within our community.
