About Woodlands Eye Associates
Woodlands Eye Associates is also fortunate to have some of the area’s most talented doctors on its staff. In 1986, Dr. Stephen G. Slade, an ophthalmologist and world-renowned refractive eye surgeon, joined the staff as a surgical consultant. Dr. Slade was the first doctor in the country to perform LASIK refractive surgery. Dr. Slade has taught LASIK to more than 8,000 surgeons nationwide and wrote the first LASIK textbook. Today all pre- and post-op care for LASIK is managed in The Woodlands by Woodlands Eye Associates and the surgery is performed by Dr. Slade in Houston. Woodlands Eye Associates also counts among its staff of doctors; Dr. Britt Wright, who joined the practice in 1996 and Dr. Ginger Brown who has practiced in both offices since 2005; Dr. Tammi H. Graham, the most recent addition to Woodlands Eye Associates is full time at Panther Creek. All four therapeutic optometrists are board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and glaucoma specialists.
