About World For Life
World for Life is a Christian non-profit, community-based organization founded in 2018 with a vision to create positive change in the lives of marginalized and vulnerable children and families in Iganga District of Uganda. Our is mission to support them in achieve their full potential in social, cultural, spiritual and economic well-being by providing a supportive environment that upholds their rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. We focus on various initiatives aimed at addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable children and families living in local communities in Uganda. These initiatives include providing shelter and support services to orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children, empowering young/teenage mothers with vocational and life skills training, adolescent girls and young women empowerment. We continue to work towards creating a brighter future for the disadvantaged children and families in Eastern Uganda and have directly impacted more than 1500 children and young women in Uganda.
