WOZ ED is the leader in demand driven K-12 education. Our programs focus on ensuring our learners are job-ready for the most in demand tech sector openings and provide learners the opportunity to engage in authentic projects to help them understand what work they love and excel at. Our ability to adapt the learning to the needs of the employers in each region and tailor the curriculum reduces training expenses for those businesses and opens the door for communities to invest in the development of their youth. WOZ ED is an effective driver of economic development. You don’t have to be good at English to be good at coding. Academic achievement gaps are best mitigated by authentic opportunities to learn something you can get paid to do. We are engaging in communities where the students are more likely to be incarcerated than finish college. We are giving these young people the skills and experience they need to be ready for high paying, tech sector jobs immediately after completing high school. For college bound youth, we are providing more exposure to informed career choices and insuring they graduate with a portfolio of tangible accomplishments. In the tech economy, employers are looking more at what employees can do than what degree they have achieved. There are too many young people with liberal arts degrees, burdensome student loan debt and no job prospects who believed a college degree was enough.
