Amara Pharmaceutical Company is a pioneer in Polish pharmaceutical manufacture private sector: - established 23 years ago, - over 200 employees, - 2 plants, - over 130 substances for technological processes, - over 30 medicinal products. The company was established in 1994 by Jarosław Bogucki, currently acting as Amara Pharmaceutical Facility's Presidents of the Management Board. Initial Amara's business activity was packaging of herbal tinctures. After a few months of operation, the company obtained permission and commenced production of own medicinal products - valeriana tincture and mint tincture. Over time, the company's portfolio was expanded by new medicinal products and resources for formulas. In 2014, the company's range was extended with brand-name products, also sold on the non-pharmacy market,e.g. Rinozine ointments and sea water, Refitner gels for sportsman and Amaderm dermatological creams. In August 2015, Amara acquired the "Chance" Pharmaceutical Facility in Pieńków near Warszawa, creating another company out of it - Amara Pharmaceuticals & Suplements Sp. z o.o. The company's portfolio was then joined by tablet and capsule products. The next step in company's development included new property investment - a building in Kraków, with 200 m2 of office space and 3000 m2 of storage space.
