About Harissa Hot Honey
Sweet Heat with Flavor: We infuse wildflower honey with the bold, fiery spices of traditional harissa, crafting a harmonious blend of sweet heat with layers of flavor. The notes of garlic, caraway, and coriander elevate the taste, making Harissa Hot Honey a gourmet delight. Made in small batches with all-natural, high-quality ingredients, it stands out as the first premium hot honey. From charcuterie boards to pizza, crispy chicken to roasted vegetables, and even salad dressings and cocktails, Harissa Hot Honey enhances a wide range of dishes and drinks. The honey’s sweetness subtly tempers the heat, while the herbs and spices add bold flavor to the peppers’ slow, seductive burn. Available in multiple sizes to suit every need: Original bottles: A staple for every home pantry. Gallon sizes: Perfect for commercial kitchens, restaurants, and stadiums. Travel-friendly jars: Ideal for corporate gifts, stocking stuffers, and on-the-go indulgence. Our Story: Founded by husband-and-wife duo Gloribelle and Walid, Harissa Hot Honey reflects their deep passion for food as a personal and intimate expression of love. When the pandemic hit, they were restaurateurs who responded to the crisis by providing over 100,000 donated meals to food-insecure New Yorkers and frontline workers—an enduring testament to their commitment to community. As parents of twins, Gloribelle and Walid aim to instill in their children the value of hard work and the joy of building something meaningful. Their creation celebrates the bold flavors of harissa, a Tunisian condiment, in honor of Walid’s heritage, while also drawing inspiration from Gloribelle’s Dominican roots, where vibrant, layered flavors are central to the cuisine. Together, they infuse the essence of Harlem, Brooklyn, and their cultural backgrounds into every jar, bottle, and gallon. Proudly majority Afro-Latina woman-owned, and MWBE (certification pending approval).
