About Keystone Forestry Partners

Keystone Forestry Partners is a forestry asset management firm based in the Netherlands and is dedicated to the creation and management of high quality forestry investments for institutional investors that deliver multiple products and services including timber, CO2 sequestration, biodiversity, soil and water conservation. Through the businesses that we manage we deliver financial, carbon, and other ESG returns to investors. Our name is inspired by nature, as the company founders have a background and long-time career in forest ecology and management, and a deeply felt personal and professional drive to contribute to the conservation and restoration of biodiversity. In ecology, Keystone Species are critically important species that despite being small in number have big impact on ecosystem functioning and health: think of jaguars, wolves or beavers. We take inspiration in that, as we intend to create big and positive impacts by restoring and conserving landscapes and species for communities, nature and our global climate. Created in 2024 as a spin-out from Dutch forestry consulting firm Form International, our first investment mandate is the forestry & landscape restoration venture Amazon Restoration Company (ARC) based in the Peruvian Amazon. This company was first developed since 2020 by Form International, and further scaled by Treevive since 2022. With ARC we aim to restore 13,000 hectares of deforested land (mainly pasture) to a combination of mixed native tree plantations, natural forest restoration and smallholder agroforestry. ARC will further process the timber and generate carbon credits for the voluntary carbon markets. With ARC Peru underway we are actively developing a high-quality pipeline of other forestry & climate investments with geographic focus on LATAM and SSA.
