About KINX
IX KINX operates the only Layer-2 based Internet Exchange (IX) in South Korea. Its five data centers in and near the Seoul area are all carrier-neutral, allowing its customers to be independent of any network providers and freely select their peering partners. KINX is expanding its international coverage by establishing point-of-presence (PoP) in HK Mega-i and One Wilshire in LA, USA. IDC KINX operates four IDCs in and near Seoul - Dogok, Gasan, Sangam and Bundang. Their proximity to the metropolitan area is one of the greatest strengths of KINX IDCs. In addition, IDCs are equipped with high-tech IT infrastructure that can fulfill customers' needs. China Direct Connect (CDC) In 2015, KINX interconnected with China Telecom (CT) via CN2, providing the solutions for those looking to deliver latency-sensitive contents to China. CDC is recommended for companies looking to expand to China and attract Chinese customers. With its stability, CN2 will allow you to have more business opportunities in China. CDN KINX's CDN solution, based on peering with domestic and international ISPs, provides streaming, cache, and downloading services. Prominent mobile gaming companies such as Kunlun, Gaea Mobile, Snail Games, and Neowiz Games, and media outlets, such as the Korea Economic Daily and the Financial News are using KINX CDN to provide seamless service to end-users. Cloud In 2012, KINX introduced 'IXcloud', becoming the first Korean company to provide public cloud service that utilizes OpenStack. AWS Direct Connect (ADC) In 2016, KINX became the only co-location provider of ADC that allows AWS customers seeking secure connection to transmit their data directly to AWS via private lines.
