Throughout my career as a cardiovascular physician, biotech and pharmaceutical executive, I have had repeated success in leadership and management roles. With considerable experience working for internationally renown pharmaceutical companies, my expertise is broad and ranges from clinical trials and drug development to marketing, medical affairs and launches, all on a global scale and across multiple therapy areas, including hypertension, cardiology, renal, diabetes, and atherosclerosis. As a consultant specializing in life sciences, I bring not only my professional experience, but excellent communication and collaboration skills, combined with proven success in guiding complex and large scale projects worldwide. I have worked and lived in France, Switzerland, the UK and US, which has provided me with a strong knowledge of regulatory agencies both in the US and internationally. Please note some of the following highlights from my career: ♦︎ Established and led the Medical and Scientific Excellence Department for Global Medical Affairs ♦︎ Acted as deputy to the Global Head Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Office Pharma ♦︎ Successful launches for multiple assets, including LCZ 696 - Entresto® in heart failure, and the development, approvals and launches of Aliskiren (Rasilez®) and its fixed dose combinations. ♦︎ Managed multiple large and complex, multi-site outcomes trials for hypertension, renal protection and cardiovascular risk reduction as well as the clinical development and the launch of Caduet® (Norvasc®+Lipitor® combination) for CV risk reduction. ♦︎ Played key role in ensuring a smooth merger between Pharmacia and Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals as a member of the CV mapping and merger team.
